Job Title: Supply Chain Inventory and Warehouse Manager

Location: Cavan

Salary: 55k plus benefits

About Your New Job

  • Ensure sufficient inventory to meet customer demand without overstock or understock situations.
  • Optimise procurement and storage strategies to lower holding and stockout costs.
  • Establish standard work routines, set performance standards, and implement training programs.
  • Streamline processes to reduce errors, improve turnaround times, and increase productivity.
  • Guarantee timely product availability and fulfilment of production and kitting orders.

What Skills You Need

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma with a focus on Inventory or Warehouse Management, Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or Operations Management.
  • 2–5 years of experience in inventory management, logistics, supply chain, or warehouse operations, including a proven track record of managing stock control systems, handling procurement or purchasing requirements, using ERP or WMS, and leading teams.
  • Proficiency in inventory software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics), advanced Excel skills, understanding of barcoding, RFID, or automated inventory systems, familiarity with lean or JIT practices, knowledge of international logistics and import/export regulations, and experience with sustainability or green supply chain practices.
  • Demand forecasting, data interpretation, PDCA/8D improvement cycles, and RCA for
  • Ability to manage multiple stock locations, attention to detail and accuracy, and time management under tight deadlines.
  • Leading warehouse or logistics staff, coordinating across departments, negotiating with suppliers or service providers.
  • Handling inventory discrepancies or supply disruptions quickly and making cost-effective stocking decision
