Sustainability Co – Ordinator

About Your New Employer

Our client is the leading insurer of Ireland’s public sector, and as Irelands only indigenous mutual insurer, they protect and safeguard the interests of their members, which consist of all local authorities, education and training boards. They are now recruiting a Sustainability Co – Ordinator to assist the Head of Sustainability and oversee the day-to-day implementation of their sustainability initiatives.

About Your New Job

  • As Sustainability Co – Ordinator you will contribute to the development and advancement of the Climate Transition Plan and Collect and prepare draft sustainability reports to assist in monitoring progress towards KPI’s.
  • You will collect and analyse ESG data from various business departments, identify trends and insights and assist internal departments in identifying and developing sustainability KPI’s.
  • You will liaise with the clients Member’s Climate Forums and prepare and deliver sustainability reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.

What Skills You Need

  • Relevant third – level qualification in Sustainability, Sustainable Finance or a related field.
  • Previous experience in sustainability/ESG Experience in the financial services sector is desirable.
  • Understand sustainability concepts, regulations and compliance requirements in the finance sector and familiarity with international sustainability standards and ESG frameworks.
