About Your New Job

  • As the Underwriting Portfolio Analyst, you will support portfolio management, underwriting performance, and exposure monitoring through high-quality analysis and reporting.
  • You will work closely with Underwriting, Actuarial, Claims, and other teams, developing and maintaining performance dashboards, pricing models, and exposure monitoring tools.
  • You will help drive portfolio optimisation, profitable growth, and informed decision-making across the business.
  • As the Underwriting Portfolio Analyst contribute analytical input for product reviews, portfolio management activities, and new product development initiatives.

What Skills You Need

  • A relevant professional or third-level qualification in mathematical, financial, business, or analytical discipline.
  • Experience in data analysis and reporting, ideally within insurance or financial services.
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills; advanced Excel skills required, Power BI experience is an advantage.
  • Attention to detail, commitment to data quality, and ability to interpret complex data into actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across different business units.
