Job Summary
Vision Contracting is currently seeking an experienced Concrete Foreman to join our Dublin/Leinster team. This is a key site-based role, ideally suited to someone with a strong background in RC frame construction and proven experience delivering structures of five storeys or more.
You will take responsibility for the day-to-day delivery of all concrete works on site, including foundations, vertical elements, slabs and structural cores. The successful candidate will play a hands-on role in driving quality, safety and productivity across a busy, active site.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate all on-site reinforced concrete works, including foundations, columns, walls, slabs, stair cores and associated elements
- Supervise and manage direct labour and subcontractors, ensuring productivity, quality and programme targets are consistently met
- Ensure all works are carried out in full compliance with health & safety regulations, method statements and company standards
- Monitor progress against the construction programme, proactively identifying and resolving delays or sequencing issues
- Work closely with engineers, site management and the design team to resolve technical and buildability challenges
- Maintain accurate daily records of site activities, inspections, deliveries and labour resources
- Drive quality control across all concrete works, ensuring adherence to project specifications and tolerances
- Coordinate with site logistics to ensure timely delivery of concrete, formwork, reinforcement and related materials
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Concrete Foreman or in a similar supervisory role on large RC frame projects
- Strong working knowledge of formwork systems, steel fixing, and concrete placing and finishing techniques
- Demonstrated experience delivering RC frame structures of 5+ storeys
- Ability to manage multiple crews and subcontractors in a fast‑paced, high‑output environment
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to give clear direction and maintain team focus
- Solid understanding of site health & safety requirements and statutory compliance
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and construction plans
- Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail
