This site is home to our bustling meats & snacking business and you would be working with exciting brands such ; Walls, Mattessons, Fridge Raiders and Mr Brain's Faggots all firm favourites and staples in many homes across the UK & Ireland.

This role is all about leading and driving the Meat's business with you being responsible for a small but high performing Innovation team in line with the Kerry Purpose, Vision and Values.

    Provide relevant product design by leading a team of Product Development and Project Managers to create business advantage over the plan horizon.Key interface with the Customer and Brand Management and the Concept Innovation Teams to set the R&D Agenda for the Kerry and customer own label brands.Lead the R&D team in order to build, develop and sustain a culture of high performing teams to create high quality R&D briefs to implement new product platforms.Manage, guide and train Customer Project Managers. Inspiring through food, industry and consumer knowledge.Source right first time products for Kerry Foods butter, spreads and margarine.Lead the product development team to ensure they are engaged and high performing with a focus on problem solving and team work. Build trust through effective leadership and the skilled application of people management processes and open two-way communications.To work closely with the Customer & Brand R&D Managers, Concept Innovation Manager, Technology Innovation Manager and CDT's to determine customer orientated and commercially viable R&D activity to support the brand and retailer agendas and deliver long term strategic growth.Ensure two-way feedback of all project activity between Product Development and Customer and Brand Management Teams. Overview all Product Development Briefs and project timelines to ensure alignment and delivery.Involvement with setting M.S.P targets, R&D final sign-off, process and launch margins.Manage and Review of Product Development Quality StandardsEnsure the transfer of quality standards to the Product Development factory teams and champion on-going product consistency.Maintain awareness of market, consumer and restaurant trends and competitor activity to identify potential business opportunities.

Person Requirements:

    Degree in Food Science or related discipline.Five years experience in R&D Food manufacturingChilled/Frozen Food technologies experience
Not essential, but preference may be given if you have:

    Previous training experienceExperience within Project Management.
