CPL, in partnership with our client Pfizer, require a junior CQV engineer to join the team at their biopharma site in Grange Castle, Dublin 22 .

The Junior CQV engineer will be in a team to commission and qualify new freezers for the warehouse facility.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Involvement in the Capital and Operational projects conjunction with Pfizer utility and site services (U&SS) engineers and with other Pfizer Grange Castle (GC) stakeholders to deliver new and upgraded CEDs.
  • Working with the U&SS team to support maintaining CED in a GEP and/or GMP state by implementation and optimisation of the revalidation, maintenance and calibration programmes.
  • Interface with the U&SS group, U&SS customers and suppliers, project groups and QA, as required, in the delivery of projects. Successful project delivery will involve ensuring the new or modified CEDs are fit for use for the projected life cycle of the systems, including ensuring the systems are reliable and that future maintenance, revalidation and calibration works are cost effective and result in minimum system downtime.
  • Working with system owners to generate user requirements specifications.

Your Education/Experience:

  • Minimum qualificationB.Sc./B.Eng orM.Sc./M.Eng Degree in Chemical/Mechanical/Science
  • An understanding of controlled environmental devices (CED) such as reach in and walk in fridges, freezers, incubators and stability units would be an advantage.
  • Understanding of commissioning, and/or qualifying/verifying GEP and/or GMP utilities , and /or controlled environmental devices would be an advantage
  • Knowledge of validation processes and regulatory requirements would be an advantage
