POSITION: Permanent / Full-time

We have an excellent opportunity for a HR Administrator to develop their career. As HR Administrator you will become a key member of the HR team and will assist in providing support to 400 professionals.

Qualifications and key requirements

  • A HR qualification (CIPD accredited or equivalent), with a definite interest in pursuing a career in HR
  • A minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in an HR admin role
  • Highly proficient in MS Office (particularly Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Good knowledge of employment legislation and best practice
  • Previous experience of using an HR system
  • Knowledge of MS Access
  • A good understanding of database management and operation
  • A track record in professional discretion when dealing with confidential information
  • Experience in payroll and / or an IPASS qualification would be advantageous
Duties and responsibilities

  • Support the HR function and resolve / respond to employee queries
  • End-to-end recruitment administration from advertisements, screening of applications, scheduling interviews through to drafting of employment contracts
  • Collate monthly payroll and liaise with payroll provider
  • Produce monthly annual leave and headcount reports; produce ad-hoc reports as required
  • Maintain and update HR systems including electronic personnel file management
  • Produce general employee correspondence (T&C changes, etc.)
  • Monitor fixed term contract expiry dates, probation dates and action as required
  • Coordinate starter / leaver process including orientation for new hires
  • Administer Tax Saver and Bike To Work schemes
  • Provide ad hoc support to the wider HR team as requested

  • Capable of using initiative and working under minimal supervision
  • The ability to work within a team and build effective relationships
  • A willingness to interact with employees to resolve HR issues
  • Flexible and adaptable with an ability to maintain focus
  • A willingness to learn and apply learning
  • Excellent communicator
  • Fluency in spoken and written English
  • Highly numerate
  • Strong attention to detail with high levels of accuracy when performing tasks
  • Fully accountable and takes ownership of data management
  • The ability to work within deadlines
