THE COMPANY:

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Machinery Safety Engineer to join a large multinational company in Cork for an initial 11-month contract. My client is the global market leader in their sector specialising in the provision of safety engineering services and solutions to a wide range of industry sectors with operations in over 27 countries worldwide.

THE ROLE:

In your capacity as Machinery Safety Engineer you will deliver customer focused safety services to a range of clients in the healthcare, medical devices and food & beverage sectors.

You will be a leader/technical contributor in the development of solutions i.e. proposing, developing and implementing improvements/ modifications to machinery to meet your customer's needs.

As the SME in your area you will also provide Technical Process Safety related training to customers both nationally and internationally and also undertake Machinery Risk Assessments & CE Marking projects.

THE FIT:

To excel in this role, you will need to a highly organised engineer with excellent influencing skills and the ability to manage a number of projects at the same time. You will also need to have really strong communication skills, both written and in presenting technical project information to engineers, operators and senior managers.
