MetroLink Deputy M500 Head of Engineering & Environment (HoEE)

The Deputy M500 (Systems, Rolling Stock, Fitout and Operations Maintenance) Head of Engineering & Environment will provide technical support and leadership to the MetroLink Directorate team who are responsible for managing the design and construction of the main contract. The role holder will be involved in working on a challenging project, bringing innovative technology and delivery methods to MetroLink. The role holder will manage the assurance and approvals of the design, construction, test, and trial running phases of the new MetroLink system.

MetroLink Senior Design Coordinator

The Senior Design Coordinator acts as the main point of contact among the technical teams within the engineering group. The role holder organises the work of the technical teams and consultants to support the overall planning of the technical activities. The Design Coordinator contributes to the production of a comprehensive detailed design of the major infrastructure contracts on behalf of the MetroLink Directorate. The role holder supports the Technical Authority Lead in providing assurance on the design, standards, methods, and procedures of the major infrastructure contracts. Additionally, the design coordinator assists in reviewing designs developed by consultants and other contractor(s) for technical acceptability during tendering stage and post contract award, ensuring compliance with standards and constructability requirements.
