Demand Planner - Cork

This leading Medical Device organisation now as an exciting opportunity for a Demand Planner who will be responsible for developing and executing Demand Plan and inventory plans that will enable the organisation to meet sales and service objectives.

Demand Planner - Role/Responsibilities
+ Design and generate weekly and monthly statistical forecast reports
+ Continuously improve forecasting techniques, method and approach
+ Relate and measure the impact of forecast accuracy
+ Evolve and maintain documentation and standard operating procedures for demand planning processes and systems
+ Conduct current and future forecasting analysis, insuring forecasting processes and methods are followed
+ Assemble and analyse all data pertinent to creating the demand forecast
+ Manage inventory targets that are approved by management
+ Prepare, report and communicate forecast and inventory measurements to management
+ Contribute to monthly Sales and Operations planning meetings and ensure inventory levels will meet sales plans as well as corporate inventory objectives

Demand Planner - Skills/Experience
+ Degree qualified or equivalent
+ Strong experience in a Planning or similar role
+ Knowledge of MRP systems
+ Proficient in MS Office Suite
+ Experience in Master Scheduling, forecasting, procurement and planning
+ Strong knowledge of demand planning process
+ Extensive spreadsheet analysis in excel and access database and strong mathematical abilities
