In partnership with my client a world leader in communication solutions across the EMEA we are currently recruiting a Senior Sales Consultant to join their leading team. The successful candidate will have a technical sales/ consultancy background ideally in telecoms coupled with a strong self-motivation and orientation towards results. This role will be based in the Cork/ Munster region.

The successful candidate will be responsible for offering consultancy services for existing accounts, developing new accounts and promotion of products and services. A strong technical aptitude is essential for this position to present technical solutions to customers and make recommendations.

As a top tier consultant you must have; a proven ability to negotiate technical and commercial issues for sales, ensuring sales targets/objectives are achieved and exceeded, continuously work to improve the selling experience for customers, account manage a portfolio of clients and work closely with support data and network specialist to develop customer solutions.

Requirements:
3+ direct experience in as a Sales Consultant, ideally within telecoms alternatively IT/technical sales.
Diploma Business or IT preferable.
Proven track record in account management and business development.
Proven experience in contract negotiation with high profile clients.
Strong technical aptitude, to present technical solutions to clients.
Extremely target driven.
Computer literate; proficient with MS Office.

This role will be predominantly field based and the successful candidate will have a choice to work from Cork or Limerick. A mobile phone, lap top, expense account and car allowance or car would also be included. My client offer also offers an excellent remuneration package.
