Our Client, a strong, dynamic and well-known Sports and Leisure Retailer is currently looking to recruit for an experienced Fashion Deputy Manager to assist in the running of their Dundalk Store, Co. Louth.
At present this Retailer is without doubt one of most successful Retailers in Ireland and have very exciting plans for the future, they have radical plans to change the branding, merchandising and operations of the Company and are looking for fresh, ambitious and talented Managers to help them achieve this. They are very interested in meeting with highstreet Fashion Managers!
Job Description
To assist the Store Manager in overseeing and monitoring the smooth running of the store. The Deputy Manager is responsible for managing and motivating the sales team members to ensure excellent customer service is delivered.
Some duties will include
Ø Open and close the store
Ø Plan and organise daily tasks
Ø Till, daily and weekly cash office duties
Ø Delegate tasks to team members
Ø Prioritise and adapt tasks according to the demands of the business
Ø Control of stock management
Ø Co-ordinating deliveries
Ø Organising recalls, reductions and amendments
Ø Promote and encourage sales team members to provide exceptional customer service
Ø Display excellent product knowledge to customers
Ø Analyse and develop the teams commitment towards customer service to improve standards
Ø Liaise with your fellow management team, senior management, staff and customers in a professional, confident and friendly manner
Ø Assist management team in training and developing potential of new sales team members
Ø Utilise and communicate mystery shopper results with the management team and sports sales team members to identity training needs of staff
Ø Participate in planning and conducting weekly meetings
Ø Implementation of merchandising standards
Ø Maintaining fire, health and safety standards
Ø General Administrative duties
Ø Organising staff; files, rotas and holidays rosters
Ø Ensure all team members adhere to policies and procedures
Ø Set challenging but realistic targets to inspire the team to achieve store goals
Ø Encourage staff morale by displaying positive personal energy, drive and determination throughout the store
Ø Evaluate daily queries and respond to them in a professional and positive manner
