My client is a Cork based multinational.
A new role exists for an experienced Occupational Health professional.
This is a 9 month contract position.
Responsbilities:
- act as point of contact for occupational health & safety matters
- implement h&s programmes
- support employees in health promotion programmes
- promote employee wellbeing initiatives
- management of stress management programme
- ensure compliance with statutory occupational h&s requirements
- ensure effective first aid arrangements are in place
- investigation of incidents of ill-health
- liaise with internal business functions
- liaise with external agencies and regulatory authorities
Requirements:
- min 3 years exprience within an Occupational Health position
- proven experience in similar capacity within industry - ideally within a corporate multinational
- Offupational Health & Safety qualification
- familiar with risk assessment methodology
- healthcare or medical background preferred
- experience in developing ee wellbeing programmes, health initiatives, wellbeing programmes
- thorough understanding of HR issues & regulation as applied to occupational health.
