Our client is a global organisation involved in the food industry, with a small manufacturing plant in East Cork. A maternity leave cover contract now exists for 11/12 months for a Junior Planner / Customer Service Coordinator to join the team.
Principle Responsibilities:
- Uphold company Mission Statement, Quality Policy, Values and Beliefs
- Schedule production (four week view, daily liquid plan, weekly liquid plan)
- Support Planning Coordinator in UK with powder work orders and maintains inventory at the production point, ensuring “live” EI data with daily maintenance of orders in the system
- Create packaging work orders
- Coordinate European Logistic goals with Planning Coordinator in UK
- Issue Purchase Orders in line with RM plan
- Book freight movements, approve and code carrier invoices, track tanker fleet status, plan future fleet positioning, fleet management (repairs, tests etc.)
- Replace and support the customer service colleagues if necessary
- Plan bulk transportation schedule
- Customer Service duties include
- Answering queries, taking and entering orders on EI Oracle system
- Maintaining current pricing and customer information in our systems
- Confirming shipments
- Invoicing
- Sending Certificates of Analysis and managing inventories as required
- Other administration duties as required
Competency & Skill Requirements:
- At least 2 years multinational experience preferably in a planning/inventory role
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel is required
- Diploma in IIPMM or IPICS is desirable
- Customer services experience is an advantage
- Should be detailed-oriented, flexible, solution focused and self-motivated
- Ability to work well within a team and in a dynamic environment
- Ability to work proficiently under pressure and multitask within the planning and customer service tasks
- Capable of liaising with internal and external people to accomplish tasks and achieve buy-in as required
- Set challenging goals, prioritize tasks, overcome obstacles and accept accountability,
- Meet all team deadlines and responsibilities, listen to others and value opinions, help team leader to meet goals and promote a team atmosphere
- Ability to interact effectively with people in person and on phone
