Our Client develops enterprise software and delivers associated services to the Global infrastructure and energy industries. They use their depth of industry experience, product innovation, and strategic partnerships to provide proven solutions for enterprise data management.

Main responsibilities

As part of our clients product development team you will be working with leading edge products to develop and enhance their software applications which are aimed at large blue chip clients in the energy and infrastructure sectors.

Skills Required

  • A Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science / Software Engineering or an equivalent qualification in another technical field.
  • 3+ programming experience at least 3 of which involved Java.
  • High performance SQL and RDBMS design (Oracle 10/11g and or IBM Informix)
  • Enterprise Java (JAX-WS, JDBC, EJB3, JMS)
  • C99 in a Unix environment
  • Design and development of high performance code in Java and C99 in a multi-core environment
  • Experience of IBM WebSphere Application Server and/or SAP NetWeaver Web AS
  • Special consideration will be given to candidates with experience of processing techniques related to time-series data
  • PL/SQL
  • Ability to develop code from a Functional or Technical Specification document
  • Experience of using PVCS for code configuration management
  • Experience of development within an ISO 9001 compliant environment
