This privately owned care facility seeks a Nurse Coordinator/ Nurse Manager to lead their team of Staff Nurses and Healthcare Assistants.
Soon to be a 24 bedded facility with 2 operating Nurses Stations, this Nurse Coordinator will:
- Lead a team of Nurses and Healthcare Assistants and act as a mentor to less experienced staff
- Coordinate all Nursing duties to the correct Nursing Guidelines
- Maintain a respectful environment for clients within the Care Unit
- Assessment of Staff Training or Continuous Professional Development as and when required
- Assessment of Staff duties, rosters and care plans
- Ensure Nursing Guidelines are adhered to in accordance to both the facility and the clients specified Care Plan
- Coordinate GP, Physiotherapy and additional clinical visits to site
- Full responsibility and control of Drug and Medication cabinets and maintain full reports of it's activity on a daily basis
- Regular Nursing duties
- Fully qualified RGN with current ABA registration
- Have recent Clinical Nursing experience
- Be working as a Senior Staff Nurse and looking to take on a leadership role
- Have some Staff Management experience
- Have an astute awareness of what is required of all staff on a Care Unit
Working Hours - Office Hours - 9-5
