My client a Multi-National currently have a requirement for a Managing Director. Candidates will be coming from a Multi-National background within any of the following industrys - Manufacturing, Waste, Environmental, Recycling. Ideally you will have a strong finance background and also have some operational exposure and strong staff management experience across different departments within an organisation

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage and lead Senior Management Team
  • Manage Company and Group on a day to day basis and be involved in the strategic direction of the company
  • Identify, develop and pursue initiatives for profit and growth within the company (Joint ventures, acquisitions etc)
  • Direct and work with other Business Managers across Finance, HR, Operations and Sales
  • Create value for all stakeholders
  • to achieve the finance objectives of the company in accordance with agreements with Chairman and Board
  • Financial planning, analysis and budgeting duties
  • Ensure strategies and plans are in place which assure competitive positioning of the company
  • All other duties as requested


REQUIREMENTS

  • Senior Finance Professional with strong Operations experience. You will also have to hold an Accountancy qualification
  • Strong staff management experience- along with finance have experience managing HR, Operations and Sales
  • Working within Manufacturing, Waste, Environmental or Recycling industries
