Due to unprecedented success and expansion our client, one of Ireland's leading Pharmacy Groups are currently seeking applications for a Cosmetics Beauty Health Buyer for its Dublin based office on Temporary Contract basis . We are looking for experienced Retail Buyers who have experience buying in multiple buying office environment in the areas of Fashion buyer, Cosmetics Buyer, Beauty Buyer or Accessories Buying and of course Health and Beauty

The Job of a Cosmetics Buyer, Beauty Buyer, Health Buyer – Temporary Contract
You will be responsible for developing business plans to drive performance of the category by interpreting trends, Customer Insight analysis, Assortment Development, Developing and executing Marketing programmes and negotiating with existing suppliers whilst always looking for Product that will give your business a USP and keep it ahead of the curve.
The Job
- The development and implementation the long and short-term buying strategies
- To develop relationships with suppliers and find new buying opportunities.
- To be aware of trends and opportunities to improve profitability within the department.
- To lead negotiation with suppliers.
- To develop a supply base to support your strategy
- To ensure that innovation is at a level which keeps the range always ahead of market trends
- Managing and developing a specific portfolio of suppliers and brands
- Achieving budgeted LTA, Marketing and all other forms of buying income.
Requirements for the Cosmetics Beauty Health Buyer – Temporary Contract
- Experience is required with a retail buying office. Cosmetic or Health and Beauty buying would be a distinct advantage.
- Excellent planning and negotiation skills
- Entrepreneurial spirit with strong analytical, decision-making, and organizational skills
- Creative problem-solving and risk-taking skills
- Superior leadership skills with enthusiasm, initiative and a passion for results
Salary €60,000- €65,000 DOE
