Financial Accountant - Multinational - Co. Galway Excellent Basic Salary + Benefits + Career Opportunities

Opportunities like this do not come along everyday, especially in this economic climate! We are currently seeking a Qualified Accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) with 4-5 years post qualification experience to join a leading multinational organisation based in Co. Galway. This role would suit a candidate coming from a multinational or manufacturing background. This role will cover all aspects of financial reporting in a busy, deadline driven environment. We are looking for enthusiastic, career orientated individuals with an inovative streak to join this leading organisation.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • delivering high quality financial reports through the accurate and timely completion of month enmd processes.
  • prepare financial reporting packs with KPI commentary and analysis of trends
  • preparation of Statutory Accounts for each entity and at a consolidation level in full accordance with Irish / US and Singaporre GAAP
  • focus on on process improvements to develop the quality of financial information
  • fixed asset reporting
  • implement internal controls and liase with external auditors
  • ad hoc duties as required
Essential Requirements:

  • Qualified Accountant with 4-5 years post qualification experience
  • a Qualification through ACA / ACCA / CIMA
  • ideally have experience in a multinational or manufacturing environment
  • have experience of process improvements and report developments
  • have exceptional report writting and analytical skills
  • strong Excel skills
  • experience with Oracle Financials would be of major benefit
  • high levels on professionalism and enthusiasm as this will be a career focused role
  • abilty to deliver to tight deadlines
