Reporting to both the IPG Ireland Country Manager and the UK&I IWS IPG Retail Sales Manager, this is a key role within the IPG UK&I business team, responsible for a number of key retail customers in both the UK and Ireland across all Product Categories, from single function deskjets, Consumer AiOs, Laser Printers and supplies.
The role requires excellent account management and collaborative skills in a matrixed environment. The role interacts with a number of key market teams and product managers, both locally and centrally, as well as supporting the IPG business team.
The individual will be responsible for the total performance of the named accounts in the UK&I and working with the EMEA team to drive the business across EMEA.
· Lead and drive the Account(s) performance. Grow HP's share of the account(s) and increase account ASP.
· Lead and drive strategic partnership with the account(s) against a 6 month/12 month/2 year plan.· Manage the P&L of the account(s) end-to-end.
· Establish strong relationships throughout all parts of the account(s).
· Understand trends / issues market knowledge· Drive the HP Strategy of selling mid/high end products on a value message.
· Managing significant $m retailer co-marketing budgets working closely with the IWS marketing teams.
· Work with the marketing and field teams to ensure best-in-class in-store/online execution.
Requirements:
Degree/qualification or relevant education with demonstrable sales experience.
· Proven track record of achieving sales targets.
· Demonstrated ability to drive a strategic relationship with accounts.
· Demonstrated ability to sell value.
· Strong evidence of retail market insight.
· A strong communicator of business management models and issues
· Strong project management and implementation skills
· Ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines.
