Experienced Chef - Grocery Retailer - Dublin North

Our Client a Leading and Successful Grocery Retailer requires an experienced and Qualified Chef, In order to develop their in store fresh food offering. The minute you walk in the door: vibrant produce, an upbeat atmosphere and staff who really want to help their customers. Each store is an exciting marketplace with a strong emphasis on fresh Food.

Main Duties:

Chef / Food Production - Dublin North

  • To ensure the Food Production area operates efficiently and effectively at all time
  • To provide customers with an excellent, innovative product.
  • To deliver margin and sales targets as agreed by management
  • To assist in development and implementation of Company strategies in respect of the Fresh Food
  • To maintain an excellent HACCP and Hygiene system
  • To maintain excellent customer services
  • To liaise with all Fresh Department managers to add value across all departments and minimise waste
  • To assist in the induction, training and development of staff in the Food Production area
  • To ensure company rules, policies and procedures are adhered to
  • To carry out any other duties as directed by management


The ideal candidate will possess the following:

Experienced Chef - Grocery Retailer - Dublin North

  • 2/4 years Chef Experience gained in a fast paced progressive environment
  • Proven negotiation skills in dealing with suppliers
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • The successful candidate must be flexible, innovative and creative in their attitudes to all issues and areas of the business
  • The candidate must be a team player capable of motivating and directing the other people connected with the area


In return the client will offer a salary of 25K , social working hours, autonomy and opportunities to advance. This is an opportunity for an existing Chef to work days!!
