- Agree and control market stock levels in line with business targets
- Process and manage daily stock information on product
- Responsible for minimising stock issues / risks with major range change/ risk to promotional activities
- Analyse high stocks, communicate and work with the categories and Demand Planners to develop and drive an action plan to reduce stocks
- Work closely with the Supply Chain Team and 3PL to communicate & resolve any stock issues that may arise
- Review and report on any product availability issues, working closing with source units to minimise any risk to customers and providing long term solutions to ongoing issues
- Analyse and identify the root causes of product availability issues
- Drive action plan to ensure the long term resolution of recurring product availability issues
- Liaise closely with manufacturing sites, freight forwarders and wholesalers to ensure appropriate stock levels, monitor shipments & ensure that stock arrives on time
- Highlight ongoing transit issues and identify areas for performance improvement
Skills & Experience
- Graduate / junior stock controller experience (6 months-1 year)
- Excellent analytical skills
- Strong planning & organisational skills
- Strong communication and influencing skills
- High numerate and computer literacy skills
- Good knowledge of excel would be beneficial but not essential
- SAP experience would be beneficial but not essential
