Our client a leading FMCG Co is looking for a Maintenance Technician with Previous factory experience to join their team.

The ideal candidate will have one years plus experience in a Factory environment doing day to day Maintenance.

The role involves:

  • Support and maintain preventive maintenance, and predictive maintenance programmes

  • Deliver planned maintenance schedules in line with Production related requirements

  • Perform follow-up analysis to identify and resolve recurring downtime / inefficient operational issues

  • Manage work and environment such that good manufacturing practices (GMP) are adhered to and pristine plant standards are maintained.

  • Plant handover/hand-back procedures must be followed & all work carried out must be completed, such that it presents zero risk to product quality and personal safety

  • Issuing of permits to work, adherence to site safety procedures and identification of on-going safety improvements

  • Training team members in maintenance procedures and techniques as required.

  • Use of computerised maintenance management system (CMMS) to input data and monitor & evaluate plant performance.

Role RequirementsMechanical trade qualification

  • Minimum of one years experience in a maintenance technician role in a highly automated environment,
  • Highly skilled in troubleshooting, fault finding & root cause analysis on plant/process issues.
  • Highly skilled in instrumentation and control.
  • Good working knowledge of GMP best practices.
  • Experience operating within, and delivering on, the highest quality standards in the manufacturing sector
  • Ability to drive on-going Preventative Maintenance Programs.
  • Proven ability to work effectively as part of a cross functional team.
