The suitable candidate would have 3-4 years accounts experience with a good knowledge of Excel, preferably having achieved an accounting technician qualification or similar. A financial services background would be an advantage.The successful candidate will be able to adhere to strict deadlines and will have strong accuracy, organisational and communication skills.
The main areas of responsibility would include:
Daily coding & input of invoices.
Daily processing of payments, to both Suppliers and Clients.
Daily input of payments transactions to the accounts ledger.
Ensuring all payments have adhered to internal control mechanisms.
Ensuring all payments meet their Tax Reporting Requirements
Monthly Bank Reconciliations of over 30 accounts.
Working to month end deadlines.
Involvement in ad-hoc projects
