We are looking for a dynamic and ambitious Supervisor who will assist the Senior Management in driving this new business forward! The successful candidate will be accountable for the smooth running of the entire floor, will lead and develop a sales team of 6/8 staff and will take pride in training a team to sell Luxury Ladieswear and Menswear!
As Supervisor for this brand new Store, the key objective is to achieve the Store’s budgeted sales and profit for each period, while maintaining the highest customer service standards.
Accountabilities for this role
- To assist in achieving and exceeding all Store sales and profit budgets.
- Train and develop a brand new sales team to become the most talented, passionate and knowledgeable within the area and to maximise store performance.
- Ensure all staff possess excellent product knowledge and are regularly trained on new merchandise prior to launch.
- To take appropriate action to identify and address performance issues where necessary.
- To assist the Store Manager and Assistant Manager in planning, co-ordination and implementation of a store event and promotional calendar.
- Be accountable for achieving the highest standards of visual merchandising.
- Ensure that stock levels are regularly reviewed and maintained to maximise sales and liaise direct the merchandising team to ensure store adhering to the required stands.
- Ensure that all customer complaints are dealt with in a sympathetic and timely manner.
- Develop action plans with Store Manager and Assistant Manager to increase sales, address problem areas and capitalise on trends.
- Ensure effective communication to all team members of store performance on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.
- Must have at least 2 years of experience in a similar position i.e. Assistant Manager/Supervisor/Deputy Manager/Concession Manager
- Possess excellent merchandising skills
- Have excellent communication & listening skills
- Must have a distinctive feeling for fashion and enthusiasm and passion for communicating this to both staff and customers
- Need to be team oriented, dynamic and flexible
- Possess excellent organizational, planning and analytical skills
