Our client is a listed international financial services company

The Shannon Office is a client focused managed services company engaged primarily in the corporate and financial management and administration of international clients. They are seeking to hire a qualified accountant with asset management, investments or SPV experience.



The responsibilities of this role include:

  • Preparation of quarterly and annual management accounts for SPV companies in excel with trial balance and portfolio data received;
  • Financial integrity of the balance sheet and income statement – prepare reconciliations of ledger balances and request back-up and explanations as required;
  • Preparation of annual financial statements, and interim financial statements, if required;
  • Preparation and submission of calendar quarterly FVC reporting to the Central Bank ofIreland;
  • Liaising with and assisting auditors in the conduct of their annual audit;
  • Ensuring financial statements are in full compliance with international accounting standards and valuation principles and ensure senior management are aware of the implications (if any) of the changes in the accounting standards;
  • Ensure prompt response and resolution of all queries received from senior management; and
  • Other ad hoc financial or reporting requirements that may arise


The Person

  • A qualified accountant with asset management, investments or SPV experience;
  • SPV exposure gained either in practice or through work in industry (TMF, AIB International Finance, CityTrust, Citco Corporate Services etc)
  • An ability to put together a full set of monthly financial and management accounts, including a detailed audit file of all supporting documentation and reconciliations;
  • Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills;
  • High energy levels and ability to work on own initiative; and
  • Excellent attention to detail.
