Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Manage development opportunities within the organization including staff development, performance management, succession Planning and other development initiatives as required.
  • Manage the delivery of a skills analysis to ensure delivery of targets as set out in the company strategy.
  • Evaluate the current competency model and change as required to align with all roles across the organization.
  • Align staff skills, performance and focus, to effectively meet the needs of the organisation and to develop appropriate HR measurements of effectiveness.
  • Advise Management and staff, on current developments in the area of Organisational Development, learning techniques, and other personal development related topics as appropriate.
  • Monitor organisational requirements with particular emphasis on managing and monitoring staff numbers, re-allocation of staff returning from overseas assignments, secondments etc;
  • Contribute to the overall function of HR and Organisational Development including the selection and recruitment function, providing feedback to staff and candidates as necessary.
  • Manage and contribute to the development of appropriate HR & Organisational Development policies and systems (in particular CORE)
  • To ensure that continuous learning and development is undertaken through informal and formal learning and participation in the performance management and development process.
  • Must have experience in supporting the business with the following areas:Training & Development,Training Needs Analysis,Employee Engagement,Internal Communications,Performance Management,Succession Planning,Previous management of a team in delivering L&D initiatives

Additional Requirements:

  • A relevant third level qualification in a HR or Organisational Development discipline, OR to a minimum of degree standard, in another area of study which contained HR & OD as a key stream.
  • Be a member or be eligible for membership of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD).
  • Experience in Organisational Development programme delivery and other aspects of HR such as recruitment would be an distinct advantage;
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience of effective and supportive people management/ supervision.
  • A full driving licence is essential.
