Job Specification:

Well established & Irish owned specialist logistics company now seeks to hire an experienced a Transport Operations Supervisor for their Installation (Technical Distribution) division based in West Dublin.

The successful candidate will coordinate Installation (Technical Distribution) services to ensure the delivery of a first class service to customers in safe, efficient and cost-effective manner. This position is office based and a general week is a standard Monday through Friday involving the supervision of a small office team along with a larger team of Drivers. Reporting directly to the Operations Manager & Managing Director.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Coordinating and Supervision of the Route Planning for Installations throughout Ireland, both North & South.
  • Understanding Customer Requirements and ensuring the delivery of first class customer service.
  • Planning, arranging, monitoring and controlling installations and the completion of all associated documentation (operational, administrative & legal).
  • Liaising with Customers and Suppliers/Service providers.
  • Implementation & maintenance of the Daily/Weekly/Monthly Task List.
  • Operation of the company's IT Systems (incl. MS Office, WMS & Handy Form)
  • Timely and accurate generation of Sales Invoicing and timely processing of costs (accruals & purchase invoices).
  • Timely and effective response to general inquiries and queries, or escalating if unable to deal with completely or accurately.
  • General office duties.
  • Compliance with all Legal, Regulatory and Company Standards.
  • Ensuring adherence to the company H&S Policy and proactively contributes to the maintenance of a safe working environment.
  • Other tasks as required.
Minimum Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3 years recent experience of Route Planning throughout the Island of Ireland with a Distribution or Service Provider in Ireland.
  • An outgoing and enthusiastic approach to your work with previous supervisory experience.
  • Excellent attention to detail and IT skills
  • Excellent verbal and written English along with an excellent telephone manner.
Terms: Permanent, full-time
