Main Roles
- The Electrical & Instrumentation Manager has multiple responsibilities ranging from general project administration to first line management of Contract Resources and plant support.
- The position requires the individual to prepare full project work scopes, project execution plans, implementation and validation of complex projects.
- The Electrical & Instrumentation Manager must also provide electrical technical support to the E & I Engineers on sites.
- Utilize the principles of reliability engineering to evaluate equipment failures captured through work orders in the computerized maintenance management system to improve the reliability of equipment and recommend equipment improvement to management with cost/ benefit analysis.
- Must be proficient with programming in PLC, DCS and SCADA software. DeltaV experience is preferred. Experience with design in hazardous-area locations.
- Knowledge of intrinsic safety (IS) circuits is a plus.
- Good working knowledge of bus technology including Fieldbus, PRofibus and DeviceNet.
- Experience in plant electrical system layout and design. Must have a minimum of ten years project/process experience in manufacturing.
- Prior experience in the Petro Chem industry is required
