Oracle Financials Application Support/Developer Munster Contract

Vantage Resources are seeking an experienced Oracle Financials Application Support/Developer to work on one of their client sites in Kerry.

You will be working on site for a large public sector client.

While you don't have to be an expert in each Oracle Module you should have the skills to quickly grasp and understand key support issues which may arise in respect of each module from discussions with users, review of system manuals and configuration documents etc. The main modules are Purchasing, AP, AR, Inventory, FA, Travel and Subsistence and GL.

Other skills needed
  • Strong experience supporting an Oracle Financials environment
  • Service Requests experience to resolve systems application problems
  • Creating / Modifying forms and reports using 6i
  • Creating / Modifying Oracle workflows using Workflow Builder
  • Creating / Modifying PL/SQL procedures within a 9i Oracle database
  • Migrating developments between environments
  • SQL Plus
  • Unix / AIX
This will be an initial 12-month daily rate contract with the chance to extend further.
