MATRIX Recruitment are delighted to assist our client with their lastest hire. As a BUYER/PLANNER you will have a solid manufacturing background ideally within the Science/Medical device or a high volume manufacturing environments.

MATRIX Recruitment have been dealing with this client for a long time and have built up a relationship of high trust. This will assure any candidate that we will provide second to none interview preparation once we secure an interview for the right person.

Candidate Requirements:

  • 2-3 years buying & planning experience
  • MRP Experience
  • Manufacturing environment
  • Preferable 3rd Level qualification
Position Description:

  • Generate production schedules to meet forecasted demands and sales orders.
  • Work with the other buyer/planners in the team to ensure the availability of product to meet production schedule.
  • Negotiate pricing to provide competitively priced products as per customer specifications.
  • Purchase and expedite production inventory to meet production requirements.
Our clients are seeking a self starter with high degree of proven initiative. Strong attention to detail is imperative. A flexible approach to work and be capable of handling multiple priorities in a fast paced environment is a must for this busy role. Excellent communicator with strong interpersonal and organisation skills.
