Supermarket Store Manager

Company Description: Our client is an established multiple retailer with a network of convenience stores, food halls and Supermarkets across Ireland. Our client is a market leader in Fresh Foods and Quality Customer Service and currently has opportunities available for experienced retail managers due to new store openings and expansion. We now require a dynamic individual to take up the role of Store Manager

Key Responsibilities: Day to Day running of large Supermarket

  • Consistently achieve sales targets.
  • Sales team management and training.
  • Achieve applied cost structure.
  • Stock loss prevention.
  • Responsible for department layouts and merchandising standards.
  • Business Development.
  • Retention and expansion of customer base through service level.
  • Control of stock levels.
  • Administration of management information systems.
  • Responsible for store hygiene audits.
  • Fully responsible for day to day running of the store.
  • Fully responsible for store profit and loss, margin management and budgeted costs
Skills & Experience: You will have previous experience in retail management at either a senior number two level or store manager's position, with a passion for food retailing or wholesaling, a people person with a commercial edge and a desire to drive your own business category forward. Ambitious, not only for yourself but for your company.
