Our client is a high profile aircraft leasing company which is currently looking for a Vice President of Trading. This is a unique opportunity in the current market to join an organisation with a large portfolio of aircraft. We are looking for a candidate with strong experience from the aircraft leasing or aviation industry. This is a maternity cover contract and we are looking for the person to start in late June/early July.

Responsibilities;

• Building and maintaining relationships with new and existing clients.

• Ensuring that all potential trading activities which takes place within the assigned territory is known and considered by the Company or competed for.

• Negotiating sale proposals with customers, with personal authority but with reference to the Head of Trading and other departments in the Company, as required.

• Lead a team of internal departments in conclusion of term sheet negotiations.

• Communicating both verbally and in writing details of active trading prospects in the assigned territory to relevant internal departments.

• Attending appropriate Aviation Conferences and key Aviation Air show events relevant to the assigned marketing territory.

• Perform such other duties and projects as may be assigned from time to time by the Head of Trading and the Head of Sales.

Requirements;

• Degree educated, with minimum 5 years experience in aircraft finance with either a prominent lessor or a financier.

• An in-depth understanding and proven track record in aircraft leasing and sales.

• Proven ability to evaluate key deal parameters and formulate concise and timely deal evaluations and recommendations.

• Able to summarize and communicate results and recommendations in concise and meaningful ways to the Head of Trading.

• Analytical with strong problem solving and negotiation skills. Attention to detail is critical in this role.

• Customer focused, you will be able to operate at any level and you will be measured on your ability to make a quick and positive impact on the business.
