Temp Contract.

This position is responsible for conducting PCB rework and repair for Production. The work involves both throughole and surface mount rework on all types of printed circuit boards.

Candidates must be able to rework to component size 02-04


The role:


  • Assemble & test multiple printed circuit boards in production environment
  • Perform product identification
  • Assembly of PCBA.
  • Inspect PCB’s and perform minor repair when necessary
  • Rework PCB boards
  • Maintain rework equipment and facility
  • Training of Surface Mount Rework and Repair Boards.
  • Training of ECO Wires, Tab and Tracks Repair.
  • Organization of the assembly of kits efficiently and to procedure. .
  • Co-ordinate team for various operations.
  • Maintain high level of quality in assembly touch up process.
  • Ensure all procedures adhered to.
  • Instruct operators in assembly soldering procedures.
  • Supported all training efforts to develop personnel.
  • Feedback suggesting improvements, process problems to Team Leader
  • Operation of production machines


Skills & Experience:




  • Leaving Cert or equivalent
  • 1-2 years similar experience
  • Be able to work in a team environment with flexible working conditions
  • High soldering skills


Desirable skills include:


  • IPC-77 I I/IPC-772 I Rework and Repair of Electronic Assemblies Desirable
  • IPC-A-6100 Acceptability of Electronic Assemblies
  • PTH/SMT Soldering Skills
  • Certification of Training on Metcal Solder Tools
