We currently have a role for a claims executive with German or Italian. Applicants for this role must have previous experience in claims within the insurance industry. This is a permanent position with a leading institution who will be able to offer very good career opportunities long term.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • International Claims - Assess and process international claims
  • Customer Service - Manage day to day customer relations with Third Party Administrators and Finance Partners
  • International Subscriptions - Review medical questionnaire when required and have the ability to make decisions within authority limit.
  • International Complaints Handling - Review the complaint and process same within delegation authority.
  • Process Review & Process Improvement - Present suggestions for reviewing and updating procedures to the Claims Supervisor and implement any upgrades to procedures as they are signed off.
  • Other - Other claims / subscriptions tasks performed routinely by the claims team when circumstances dictate. Travel to relevant country with TPA Controller to assist in the audit of on-site claims files. Document results and complete summary report as well as taking part of Operational Meetings.


    • PROFILE

    1. Education: Preferably third level Education, in administration or business school

    2. Experience: 2 to 3 years experience in claims administration – Life and Medical U/W, preferably in Payment Protection Insurance, with a substantial authority level.

    3. Skills & Competencies: Claims handling competencies & Medical U/W

    4. Languages: German, Italian and other European languages an advantage

    5. Travelling to France and other European countries.
