Tom Devaney in the Galway office of CareerWise Recruitment requires a Principal Manufacturing Engineer for our Galway client. This is a very interesting and challenging role with a leading company in Galway.


REQUIREMENTS:

*Either directly managed team of Engineers as Functional Lead OR set direction for team

of Engineers as Project Lead

*Extensive experience in Manager level Technical Lead/Principle Engineer Role

*Excellent Project Management experience and knowledge (e.g. key phases of project lifecycle

and deliverables in each phase incl. risk management)

*Experience of leading multifunctional project teams

*Strong ability to multi task and prioritise with experience of delivering on multiple challenging

projects with limited resources

*Delivering on technical projects thru Individual contribution and leveraging the contribution of others

*Technical problem solving & Process Improvement thru the application of advanced ideally

six sigma principles tools and techniques.

*Extensive knowledge of advanced six sigma tools and techniques to Black Belt level, ideally

with Black Belt accreditation

*Process characterisation [e.g. defining relationship between process inputs & outputs - variable

and attribute, process capability and process controls

*Self development and development of others technical skills particularly in the use of six sigma

tools & techniques

*Strong communication skills including experience of delivering technical presentation to all levels

Incl. senior management

*Demonstrated capability in the area of teamwork and innovation

*Extensive technical experience of regulated pharmaceutical environment

*Technical qualification in Chemistry
