COOK Medical is the world's largest private medical device company. We currently have the opportunity for an Events Coordinator to work with the Marketing Communications Department.

The main scope of this role is to arrange local, national and international Meetings, Exhibitions, Congress and Workshops for all Strategic Business Units (SBU's) throughout Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with SBU employees and others in the Marcomms department to ensure event objectives are met
  • Plan, buy and execute on advertising / promotional media for events
  • Liaise with local organisers in arranging meeting/exhibition. Where necessary carry out on-site visits.
  • Work with exhibit partners in planning and execution of booth properties and exhibit material
  • Ensure that all logistics and service requirements are on site.
  • Ensure accommodation/travel requirements for attendees and invited guests are arranged
  • Manage and communicate budget issues related to events.
  • Arrange shipments to and from meeting.
  • Co-ordinate leads from meetings
  • Co-ordinate plant tours for visitors.
  • Provide ongoing logistics and planning support to Customer Programmes function
  • General administrative duties.
  • Ensure that COOK's Compliancy and Code of Conduct is complied with in all business matters carried out on COOK's behalf.
Requirements

  • Excellent organisational skills.
  • High initiative and self-motivation
  • Good communication and inter-personal skills.
  • Fluent English and one other European language is essential for this role. Ability to communicate with people for whom English is not a native language.
  • Proven problem-solving skills.
  • Previous Marketing and/or Events education/experience is highly desirable.
  • Availability and willingness to travel on company business.
