A Senior Occupational Therapist is required for a private practice setting dealing with a paediatric client-group, most likely at the mild to moderate end of learning and intellectual disability spectra.

The role is et within a multidisciplinary that includes: A Senior Clinical Psychologist, A Senior Speech & Language, A Learning Programme Co-ordinator (psychologist) as well as other retained and contracted psychologists and therapists.

The role will involve:

- Assessment within a multidisciplinary setting

- Design and planning of interventions within the context of IEPs - invloving multidisciplinary colleagues, special teachers and other organisations

- Some training of teachers and parents to deliver elements of IEPs

- Some involvement in delivery of elements of IEPs flowing from assessments and proposed interventions

The role will be primarily centre-based but will involve occassional out-call to special schools, very little to client homes etc.
