Director of Nursing required for a busy Nursing Home in Co Waterford
Our client is a well known and respected organisation who specialise in providing care to the elderly - have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Director of Nursing to work within one of their facilities based in Co. Waterford
They are seeking a dynamic, dedicated individual who will uphold the organisations ethos of caring for our residents in a manner which ensures their dignity, security and independence.
The role presents an excellent management opportunity within Gerontology
Requirements - The successful candidate must:
• be currently registered with An Bord Altranais
• Hold a certificate in Gerontology
• Have at least five years post-registration experience in the field of elderly care
• Have a minimum of at least two years management experience working within a similar environment.
Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
• Quality of Care Responsibilities
• General Management
• Health & Safety
• Human Resources Function
