Division/ Department: Operations Department
Reporting To: Operations Manager / Managing Director

Role Purpose:
To secure long term committed donations from members of the general public by personally calling to their homes. Once at the door, to put forward a sound proposition to the home owner as to why they should financially commit to a charity by means of a monthly Direct Debit Bank Mandate.To ensure quality and quantity of donors secured. To ensure that the donor’s contact and bank details of the donor are recorded accurately at the point of donation. To maintain these records as confidential.
To maintain and keep all records and to ensure that Head Office get the paperwork in a timely fashion

Responsible for:
Identifying suitable locations within your region in which to operate as a Door to Door Fundraiser. To ensure that Head Office sign off on the Plan of Action on a Fortnightly basis. To carry out this plan of action as agreed.

Salary Band : Month 1 is Commission Only – Then €25,000 rising to €30,000 p.a. +PRP

· To attend all training meetings in order to become completely familiar with the charity and the work it undertakes · To prepare a script in conjunction with the Operation Manager so that you can communicate clearly with the Donor · Manage Communication with Donors at the door · Phoning or Texting Head Office with your daily results · Keeping track about incidents, complaints, problems. · Furnish site feedback with Operation Manager · To carry out agreed schedule of work in a courteous and committed fashion.

Materials & Records
· Ensure you have sufficient material (as supplied by us) at all times to conduct your tasks efficiently
· To ensure that you make Head Office aware of any materials shortages, so that these can be addressed in a timely fashion
· To record all contact details clearly and accurately.
· To forward all associated paperwork to head office in a timely fashion (Twice per week).
· Discuss problems with Operations Manager
· Setting and agreeing targets with the Operations Manager and ensuring that you meet these

Recruitment:
· To identify and out forward other suitable individuals who may be good fundraisers.
· Assist Operations Manger with interviews and new
· starter training if necessary



General
Ability to plan and prioritise own workload.
