We are looking to recruit a finance analyst for a multi national medical device company in Munster.
Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) Bachelors degree with 1-3 years post qualification experience in a multi national company with a particular focus on management accounting, should also have exposure to financial analysis. Forecasting and SAP experience an advantage
The ideal candidate will be an ambitious, pro-active finance professional with keen business acumen and commercial awareness combined with an ability to work with and influence individuals at all levels across all functions throughout the site
Job Role will include but not limited to the following
1. Inventory accounting – responsible for inventory, scrap and cost accounting process including
a. analysis of scrap by reason code
b. Inventory reconciliations
c. Purchase price variance analysis
d. S tandard costing
e. Ad hoc queries and analysis
2. Financial planning, forecasting and analysis
a. Involvement in preparation of financial plans and forecasts
Ad hoc analysis
Business unit support
3. Financial accounting and internal control
a. M onth end accounting
b. Monthly site operational metrics reporting and business support
c. Sox testing cycle
