The individual will be responsible for the running and management of a Personal lines team through the effective use of resources, with responsibility for meeting, and setting targets and identifying areas of improvement or development. .
Day-to-Day tasks:
- Supporting the day to day activities of the team.
- Ensuring our procedures are compliant with the Financial Regulators
guidelines.
- Coaching and developing staff to ensure targets are
reached.
- Motivating, supporting and mentoring team members.
- Setting weekly / monthly targets.
- Compiling daily/weekly and monthly reports.
- Delegating duties to team members.
- Implementing policies and procedures.
- Liaising with HR on disciplinary or performance issues.
Requirements
- A minimum of 2 yrs experience in the personal lines insurance industry.
- 1 years experience as a team leader managing a team or supervising staff
- Target driven
- The ability to lead by example with a can do attitude.
- Be organised and self-motivated.
- Ability to work well to strict deadlines and targets.
- Good communication skills.
- Good telephone & PC skills.
- Accuracy and attention to detail.
- Qualified/Nearly Qualified CIP an advantage
