SUPPORTER SERVICES COORDINATOR – BASED IN CENTRAL DUBLIN

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

As a key member of the ActionAid team, you will manage the Child Sponsorship programme and ensure the successful acquisition and retention of ActionAid child sponsors. You will deal with enquiries and requests for information, payment administration, the development of communication materials and managing the systems and processes to create a positive and rewarding experience for the supporters of ActionAid Ireland.

You will work closely with the fundraising team to provide database reports to feed into the development of the marketing and fundraising strategies. Another key focus area is the development of initiatives to increase supporter understanding and engagement in the mission of ActionAid.

IDEAL CANDIDATE

Supporter relations is the main liaison between ActionAid, our donors, and our field office and partner staff working overseas, so strong communication skills and an open and flexible working style is a prerequisite for this role.

Ideally you should possess a minimum of three years’ experience working in a customer care or marketing function, have knowledge of relational databases, CRM and Microsoft Office and the ability to set up, manage and streamline robust systems and processes aimed at providing a responsive service to our supporters. Experience of managing web site content and familiarity with online media would be an advantage.
