Production Manager - (Precision Metal)
A leading precision machining company in Waterford who work predominately in the medical and aerospace industries. This position will be responsible for maintaining a busy high volume production environment and ensuring that production targets and efficiencies are met.
The ideal candidate will have more than 5 years experience in a similar environment with excellent people management skills and a drive to maintain standards to the highest possible level. Experience of sliding head machines multi axis machining would be a distinct advantage.
Responsibilities:
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives through the use of 6 sigma and Lean techniques
• Manage 10 direct reports and more than 30 indirect.
• Deliver on agreed production targets
• Implement cost saving projects
• Ensure that maintenance schedules are adhered to and machinery is total working order at all times.
