Location has easy access to the Airport for frequent trips home, and excellent public transport facilities. Close to O2 arena, Tower of London, and much more.
To be considered for this role you will need to have some experience of statutory social work in a front line setting, involving direct work with children and families ie referral and assessment and or child protection/child in need work
You must have some experience in:
Undertaking child protection investigations and working to child protection plans.
Assess risk and need in relation to children and families and formulate care plans to address needs.
Engage with children, young people and their parents in challenging circumstances.
Undertake assessments with good analytical and child centred focus.
Work well with partner agencies and communicate with other professionals.
Be child focused
Work as part of a team
Understand information technology as appropriate to the job and maintain accurate and up to date records on IT system.
Be able to write clear reports quickly and to a high standard.
Understand the legal process and have some experience of writing reports for court and attending court..
