Job Title

Internal Auditor

Responsibilities will include:

  • Develop and provide an internal audit function to cover financial and operational areas within the group
  • Facilitate the promotion of a culture of internal control
  • Undertake audits and reviews in line with the groups initiatives
  • Completion of specific audits under the direction of the Head of Risk
  • Develop recommendations for brining programmes and operations into compliance with the groups goals and objectives
  • Experience in liaising with both internal and external functions within the organisation including Actuarial, Risk, Compliance and New Business
  • Reviews included both financial, operational, regulatory, legal and corporate governance areas
  • Develop an understanding of the business and assess risk
  • Document and develop process flowcharts, performing an analysis of controls and providing control recommendations


  • Key Requirements

  • You will be a qualified accountant or qualified auditor with experience in financial services or a regulatory environment.
  • A thorough knowledge of the principles, procedures and practices of accounting (including IFRS) and auditing.
  • Extensive knowledge of the Life Assurance sector in Ireland
