Our client, a pharmaceutical company based in Cork, has a vacancy for a Validation Scientist (Sterility) to join their team.

Responsibilities will include:

  • To develop / ensure Validation policies reflect company policy and cGMP's.
  • To produce the relevant documentation such as validation plans, protocols and reports and ensure that same are generated and completed in accordance with defined procedures/standards/validation master plan.
  • Take ownership for specific segments of Sterility Assurance
  • Execution of protocols as required.
  • To assist Quality and Operations personnel in the performance of sterility assurance activities.
  • To lead or participate in any project teams as may be established to complete specific activities.
  • To be fully conversant with GMP requirements for site wide European and FDA compliance.
  • To liaise with personnel in GE Healthcare in implementing corporate policies and activities where appropriate.
  • Provide technical support to operations and quality on routine production issues
  • To display exemplary behaviours in line with GE Healthcare Values
  • Present and defend validation data to auditors.


Requirements include:

Third Level Qualification in Engineering / Science Discipline

    2-3 Years compliance experience in the pharmaceutical or medical devices industry Strong communication skills and the self-motivation to work on their own initiative are also requirements for this position
