The Inventory team is responsible for inventory accounting and reporting within Europe and providing financial expertise to the supply chain team and local Market teams.
Technical Expertise
· Process daily inventory transactions and ensure data integrity.
· Reconcile assigned general ledger accounts by researching and resolving discrepancies
· Responsible for Inventory close and managing the close each month.
· Work closely with the colleagues to research and resolve differences with inventory accounts
Skills and Experience Required:
· Education:
o University Degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting desirable
o Part-full/ Fully Qualified Accountant, CIMA preferable
· Skills & Experience:
o Cost accounting exposure in a manufacturing or logistics environment a plus
o Ability to work independently, to work under pressure and to handle several projects at once
o Ability to troubleshoot and adapt to changing needs
Multinational environment desirable
o High level of self-motivation, energy and flexibility
o Highly customer and service minded
o Oracle experience desirable
o Proficiency in PC skills (inc. Word and Excel)
o Strong accounting, interpersonal, analytical thinking, and organizational skills
o Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
