Italian Financial Accountant with 4yrs experience in a multinational required for permanent role with multinational in Mayo.

JOB SUMMARY:

  • Responsible for the preparation of all statutory books in compliance with local requirements
  • Preparation of US GAAP accounts and month end close.
  • Ensure compliance with VAT, tax and fiscal requirements
  • Prepare the information requested by internal and external auditors
  • Responsible for the EAM G&A Budgets and Forecasts
  • Responsible for Payroll
  • Ensuring the integrity of internal financial controls.
  • Participation in an EAM wide compliance project
  • Liaison with local management
  • Projects and continued process improvement initiatives


MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Qualified Accountant or Part Qualified Accountant working towards professional qualification
  • Minimum of 4 years experience working within a medium sized international company in a similar position
  • Strong knowledge of accounting, payroll and fiscal systems
  • Experienced in preparation of Statutory Financial Statements and income tax returns
  • Knowledge of US GAAP
  • Fluency in English and Italian with strong verbal and written communication skills for both languages
  • Work with internal and international team
  • Knowledge of SAP desirable
  • Good analytical skills
  • Proactive nature
  • Available to travel at least quarterly to the markets served. ( Ability to travel at reasonably short notice for audits, tax inspections etc is essential )
