The successful candidate will have a strong background in Logistics Operations including experience with 3rd Party Transportation, Warehousing and Supplier Relationship Management. Your will also have excellent communication and computer skills as well as the ability to maintain priorities and deadlines with strong attention to detail. The role requires strong organisational skills, the capability to work under pressure while meeting deadlines and a high degree of flexibility. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Provide day-to-day support for Worldwide logistics issues raised such as:-
Proactive Tracking of inbound supply. Expediting Orders. Dealing with service failures (missing/incomplete shipments, damages, delivery slots, paperwork, etc). Review the daily reports from Suppliers and escalate as appropriate for resolution. Timely communication of issues to Internal Customer. Day to Day Management of Worldwide Logistics Vendors. Carrier performance and activity metrics. Freight Activity Reporting. Freight Cost Analysis. Monitor open queries with Logistics vendors and ensure they are closed within the agreed timelines. Management of the Freight Invoice Auditing process. 3-5 years relevant experience of Logistics in a high volume international manufacturing or service organisation. Experience of an Outsourced Supply Chain and Logistics environment.
